Persephone’s Hand is a sculpture that includes a wax cast of my hand, a constructed water tank with three leaking points that drip over pomegranate seeds and wash away their image. It explores sexual violence as a form of death and rebirth into a new form that washed away the old identity, represented by the pomegranate seeds.
